from celestial events, galactic bodies, to the earth’s minerals, flora and fauna; colors and shapes emerge in awe inspiring geometric patterns and textures. environmental phenomena became the basis for symbols and motifs of ancient architecture, engineering, religion, language and art. utilizing both as inspiration, Valerie’s artwork strives to combine those natural and cultural elements into décor and functional ware.
